Amanda + Jarred’s beautiful Maternity Session
Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Jarred’s Maternity session in the beautiful Albuquerque, NM Bosque along the Rio Grande river. Being an Albuquerque maternity photographer means that I have so many beautiful locations to choose from. Consequently, one of my absolute favorite places is along our beautiful river. We had such a wonderful experience. The charismatic parents to be, had me and my assistants Jason (drone operator, videographer) and Veronica (fellow photographer) cracking up with laughter the entire time.
Unexpectedly, we started a little later than we would have liked and the sun seemed to be in a hurry to set. But, we still got some truly gorgeous images. It actually was a blessing in disguise! As a photographer, I love challenging myself and racing against the setting sun definitely took me out of my comfort zone. As a result, we captured some unique and spectacular images.
Luckily, Amanda (our mommy-to-be) was happy to walk from location to location. We even did a little hike in the dark after the sun had set. In addition, Amanda was a really fantastic model and was great at taking direction! This ended up being a truly fantastic experience that as a photographer, I will cherish. I hope it was as memorable for the expecting parents as it was for me. Thank you Amanda and Jarred, you both are going to be amazing parents. Baby Lukas is going to enter this world a very lucky little man with very kind and loving parents.
